LWVLA’s 2013 Legislative Preview Set for Jan. 9

The League of Women Voters of Los Alamos and the American Association of University Women will hold a legislative preview 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 at Fuller Lodge.

Refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m. for this event in which the public is invited to participate.

The League of Women Voters’ January “Lunch with a Leader” will feature Tom Ribe at 11:40 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10 at Mesa Public Library.
 
The monthly lunch meeting is open to the public.

Ribe is a native of Los Alamos, raised by longtime League of Women Voters activist Mally Ribe who was very active in the Los Alamos League until she and Fred Ribe moved to Seattle in 1978.
