White Rock Ranks Among ‘Best Places to Live for Suburbanites’

Coldwell Banker analyzed 11,000 suburbs for its latest ranking of the “Best Places to Live” series and White Rock came in 16 in the “Best Places to Live for Suburbanites” category across the United States (and number one in New Mexico).

Acting Deputy Police Chief Randy Foster is awarded a Los Alamos Daily Post cap and T-shirt for coming closest to guessing the date and time in which the Los Alamos Daily Post Facebook Page would hit 800 likes, which occured at 5:01 p.m. Sept. 22. Girl Scout Signup Night at Bradbury Oct. 3

GIRL SCOUTS News:

Girls in grades K–12 are invited to a Girl Scout information and signup night 4-5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3 at the Bradbury Science Museum.

Girl Scouting in Los Alamos and White Rock is made up of active troops in grades K-6 as well as troops of older girl scouts.

Troops enjoy getting together for field trips, camping, hikes and regular meetings in which girls are encouraged to develop independence and leadership skills.
