UNM-LA To Hold Professional Development Day April 20

UNM-LA News:

UNM-Los Alamos (UNM-LA) will host a Professional Development Day for staff and faculty, Monday, April 20.

Classes will continue as scheduled for this day. However, all other offices will be closed in support of campus-wide professional development activities. Offices will reopen Tuesday, April 21.

This dedicated day of professional development supports UNM-LA’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement in service to students and the community.

Wilmot Is Best Predictor In Weekly Pace Race

Zeke Wilmot was the top predictor in the weekly pace race held on the Bayo Canyon Road at the bottom of Main Hill Road at 1 second off his predicted time.  Other accurate predictors were Felix Candia with a 3 second difference; Valerio Pinchetti recording 5 seconds off; Eric Anderson at 10 seconds off his prediction; and Lynn Bjorklund with a 12 second difference as well as the first female finisher in the 3-mile distance at 25:57.
