The Los Alamos Toppers hosted the Taos Tigers Monday afternoon in a game played on Bomber Field on North Nesa. The Toppers were in charge of the game and won 11-1 in 5 innings. The Toppers are one win away from winning the district title which will be played Friday in Moriarty.

Council Approves $350.2 Million Budget For Fiscal Year 2027

Council Tentatively Approves DPU’s FY2027 Budget

Los Alamos County Department of Public Utilities Manager Philo Shelton presents his department’s FY2027 budget this evening to the council. Council approved 6-1, with Councilor David Reagor opposed, to tentatively approve the department’s $94.6 million budget. Council also tentatively approved a $900,000 for a joint budget option between the utilities and Public Works departments, which would be for a road re-pavement and utility infrastructure improvement project.
