Johnathan D. Gonzales, 29, of Los Alamos was found guilty of driving under the influence and open container Thursday in Los Alamos Municipal Court in connection with his March 8 arrest.

Additional charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were dismissed under a plea agreement and the original charge of aggravated DWI was changed to DWI first offense.

A jury trial for Garrett Thayne Katcher, 33, of Los Alamos is slated to begin Wednesday morning in Los Alamos Magistrate Court on a charge of aggravated battery against a household member. Elijah Meason, 27, of Los Alamos pleaded guilty to one count of unauthorized use or theft of the card of another and two counts of forgery July 17 in First Judicial District Court before Judge T. Glenn Ellington.

Meason was granted a conditional discharge, placed on three years of supervised probation and ordered to pay restitution of $839.58 to the victim. He is allowed no contact with the victim and is required to complete the Drug Court program.
