ALBUQUERQUE — New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas has announced the indictment of another serial shoplifter, Charmaine Sanchez, on multiple charges related to brazen criminal activity that has wreaked havoc in New Mexico’s retail community.

FBI: Artesia Man Gets 4 Years For Robbing Bank

ALBUQUERQUE — Roman Andrew Poulsen, 40, of Artesia was sentenced in federal court to four years and three months in prison for bank robbery. Poulsen pleaded guilty Jan. 7.

According to the plea agreement and other court records, on July l5, 2021, Poulsen robbed the Washington Federal Bank in Artesia. Poulsen entered the bank and provided a demand note to one of the tellers. The teller placed the money into a bank envelope and gave it to Poulsen, who immediately fled the bank.

FBI: Felon Pleads Guilty To Firearms Possession

ALBUQUERQUE — Richard “Sky” Kuykendall, 42, of Albuquerque, pleaded guilty Monday in Federal Court to being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Kuykendall will remain in custody pending sentencing, which has not been scheduled.

ROSWELL — New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas and Fifth Judicial District Attorney Dianna Luce announced Friday that a jury found Edward Bingham guilty of four counts of child sexual exploitation.

ALBUQERQUE – Sophia Zayas, 40, was sentenced in federal court April 19 to 30 years in prison for charges relating to the 2007 death of her infant daughter.

On Aug. 4, 2021, a federal jury returned a guilty verdict on one count of second-degree murder, one count of intentional child abuse resulting in death, four counts of intentional abuse resulting in great bodily harm and two counts of intentional child abuse not resulting in great bodily harm.
