Fully vaccinated Los Alamos National Laboratory retirees (and potential retirees) are invited to drop in 8:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday May 3 at the Laboratory Retirees Group (LRG) monthly breakfast at Morning Glory Restaurant, 1377 Diamond Dr. across from Los Alamos High School.

Morning Glory serves full breakfasts and pastries.

Retirees buy their breakfast; LRG will pay for coffee or tea.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Rep. Melanie Stansbury (N.M.-01) voted today to secure $55 billion in additional funding to support New Mexico’s restaurants and small businesses hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. The legislation now moves to the Senate. 

The Relief for Restaurants and Other Hard Hit Small Businesses Act of 2022 provides $42 billion to replenish the Restaurant Revitalization Fund allowing the Small Business Administration to process relief applications from over 170,000 eligible businesses that were not previously able to access support. P&Z To Consider Proposed Ordinance Permitting Mobile Food Vending Throughout Los Alamos County

COUNTY News:

Proposed ordinance 02-320 will be presented via Zoom at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, before the Los Alamos County Planning and Zoning Commission.

The ordinance was developed by the County’s Community Development Department (CDD) staff to support mobile food vending throughout Los Alamos County. Commissioners will vote whether to forward the ordinance May 24, to the County Council to be considered for adoption.
