RIO ARRIBA COUNTY, NM — The North Central Regional Transit District (NCRTD) Blue Bus will open four newly reconstructed bus stops in Velarde and Alcalde on Monday, June 29, following the completion of safety, comfort, and accessibility improvements designed to better serve riders throughout the region.

Upcoming Lane Closures On I-25 Near St. Francis Drive

NMDOT News:

SANTE FE – As part of the upgrades on I-25 from NM 14/Cerrillos Road to US 285/El Dorado, lane closures are expected to take place beginning June 29 for guardrail installation.

There will be three closures northbound near the St. Francis exit, and one southbound in the same location. Each closure is expected to last no longer than 46 hours.

Beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, June 29, the on-ramp from Old Pecos Trail to northbound I-25 will be closed. It will be reopened by 7 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30.

NMDOT: Roadway Rehabilitation Project On US 64/84 In Tierra Amarilla Phase 2 To Start July 8

NMDOT News:

TIERRA AMARILLA — Travelers in the Tierra Amarilla area may experience traffic delays as a roadway rehabilitation project on US 64/84 is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, July 8.

The project will span from milepost 171, just south of Brazos, to milepost 175.1, at the US 64/84 split, and is expected to take 10 days to complete, weather permitting.

The project will include the application of a micro seal solution to the roadway, followed by final striping. This structural pavement treatment will extend roadway life and improve safety for motorists.

TAOS — Travelers in the Taos/El Prado area may experience traffic delays as a roadway rehabilitation project on US 64 is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, June 23.

The project will span from milepost 253.1 (Hail Creek Rd.) to milepost 253.7 (Camino de la Placitas) and is expected to take seven working days to complete, weather permitting. This structural pavement treatment involves removing the current asphalt layer and replacing it with new pavement to improve road conditions and extend roadway life.

UPDATE: NM 4 Closed Truck Route Has Reopened

Traffic Alert:

UPDATE: LOS ALAMOS COUNTY NM 4 Road closure has ended. Please drive safely.

Due to a motor vehicle accident on N.M. 4, the Los Alamos Police Department has closed the road between East Jemez Road (Truck Route) and Rover Boulevard.

Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route.
