ESPAÑOLA — Northern New Mexico College is thrilled to announce the hiring of two new homegrown coaches to lead its Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams and the addition of two senior advisors. U.S. Air Force Airman Maxim T. Laurent recently graduated from Basic Military Training (BMT) at JBSA-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

BMT is an intensive, eight-week program consisting of training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills. Laurent finished as an Honor Graduate having earned high marks in his squadron.
