SANTA FE — Award-winning Native American children’s author Laurel Goodluck, an enrolled member of the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nations, and an Alaska Native Citizen of the Tsimshian Tribe, is completing her project with the New Mexico Library for the Blind and Print Disabled by recording four books to be added to the National Library Service’s audio collection to reach more people with visual impairments. Truchas Scholarship 2026 Applications Open Starting Dec. 1

The Truchas Chapter of Trout Unlimited would like to announce the availability of its 2026 Truchas Scholarship. The Truchas Scholarship was created to recognize and support students in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and will be expanded this year to eligible 2025-26 seniors in public high schools in Santa Fe, Los Alamos and Espanola.
