New Mexico Unemployment Rate 4.1% In September 2025

New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS) has announced that New Mexico’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in September 2025 was 4.1 percent, unchanged from August and down from 4.3 percent in the previous year.

The national unemployment rate in September was 4.4 percent, up from 4.3 percent in August and up from 4.1 percent in September 2024.

Data for total nonagricultural payroll employment will be released Thursday, Dec. 11.
