By CYNTHIA BIDDLECOMB “Star Trek Beyond” is the latest addition to the new Star Trek franchise, boldly begun in 2009 with a young cast. The first film in the franchise was successful, enough so that in 2013, Star Trek into Darkness was released with the same actors.
