“The Intern” stars two of our better contemporary actors, Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway, as a retired businessman and the successful founder of an online start up.

The send up is that De Niro’s 70-year-old character, Ben Whittaker, needing something more to do with his life, applies and gets accepted for a “senior intern” program at (Hathaway’s much younger character) Jules Ostin’s company.

Would you look at a senile, drunk, limping old man any differently if you found out he was a millionaire?

The Los Alamos Light Opera presents “Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein”, a ‘monster’ of a show directed and choreographed by Patrick MacDonald and musically directed by Gretchen Amstutz.

The Los Alamos Rotary STARS (Service to All Rotary Satellite) will participate in the upcoming Opera on the Rocks at Bandelier for the third year in a row.
