The Los Alamos Arts Council continues its 2015 Brown Bag Performance Series featuring world famous harpsichordist Kathleen McIntosh at noon today in the Pajarito Room at Fuller Lodge.

McIntosh performs widely, in festivals in Havana, Lima, Deia (Mallorca) and Tsuyama and with the Santa Fe Chamber Festival since 1996. Veterans Sought As ‘Military Extras’ For ‘Manhattan’

Producers are looking for “extras” for a TV series and sequel to a hit movie, which are now being shot here in New Mexico.

The WGN-TV series Manhattan is being shot in and around Santa Fe. Segments of the movie Independence Day 2 is being shot in Albuquerque. Producers of both projects are looking for veterans and “military-type” males for these “paying” jobs. Both projects require all-day availability.
