WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA) issued a cooperative agreement worth $13 million to a Michigan company to support the commercial production of molybdenum-99 (Mo-99), a critical isotope used in more than 40,000 medical procedures in the United States each day, including the diagnosis of heart disease and cancer.

New Mexico COVID-19 Update Dec. 3: 2,388 New Cases, Totaling 320,520 With 14 New Deaths And 269,417 Recovered

SANTA FE — New Mexico state health officials Monday announced 2,388  additional COVID-19 cases today.

Los Alamos County reports 9 new cases today, bringing the total to 935  people who have tested positive for COVID-19. (County totals are subject to change upon further investigation and determination of residency of individuals positive for COVID-19.)

This update includes 14 new deaths today in New Mexico related to COVID-19 and a 7-Day positivity rate of 14.1 percent.

State Of New Mexico Issues Amended Public Health Order Today To Require Boosters For Many Vaccinated Workers

SANTA FE – An amended emergency public health order issued today (link) by the state of New Mexico will effectively require many workers to receive a booster shot when eligible to protect against the ongoing spread of COVID-19.

SANTA FE — New Mexico state health officials Monday announced 1,887 additional COVID-19 cases today.
