Due to the increase in requests for replacement vaccine cards, the New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) has provided the following guidance:

If an individual has a damaged or lost vaccine card, they can access their vaccine records at www.vaxviewnm.org and download an official copy of the record for use. This record also will include any additional vaccines received recently.

SANTA FE — The New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) reminds New Mexicans of options to get tested for COVID-19.

The guidance is intended to support New Mexicans as case counts rise across the state – and as vaccinate-or-test requirements are implemented for state employees, teachers, and workers in congregate settings.

LARSO Launches Brand New Website

The Los Alamos Retired and Senior Organization (LARSO), which operates both senior centers, announced today that after being down for several months it has launched a new website at www.LARSO.org.

“It’s a living document,” Executive Director Bernadette Lauritzen said. “The new format should certainly allow for updated information to be added more often and for news to get out fast.”

Triad To Require Entire Workforce At LANL And All Contractors To Be Vaccinated Against COVID-19

Triad National Security, LLC, the entity that operates Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), will soon require COVID-19 vaccinations for its entire workforce.

Under the requirement, full vaccination will be mandatory for all regular employees and on-site contractors and on-site subcontractors. This requirement will apply to all employees working on-site, those teleworking, and all new hires.

New Mexico COVID-19 Update Aug. 21-23: 2,201 New Cases, Totaling 225,994 With 9 New Deaths And 200,060 Recovered

SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials announced 2,201 additional COVID-19 cases between Saturday Aug. 21 and Monday Aug. 23.

Los Alamos County reports 9 new cases bringing the total to 605 people who have tested positive for COVID-19. (County totals are subject to change upon further investigation and determination of residency of individuals positive for COVID-19.)
