Los Alamos County Emergency Manager Releases Event Code To General Public For Mass Vaccination Clinic April 25 

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County’s emergency manager has released the event code to “unlock” registration for anyone wishing to attend the April 25 large-scale vaccination clinic set to occur in partnership with Nambe Drugs.

The code is AFGKMXW and the clinic will be held 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Griffith Gymnasium on the Los Alamos High School campus.

On April 25, 1,200 vaccines will be administered. Until all appointments are booked, every individual can register and book an appointment on April 25 by visiting the New Mexico Department of Health website: https://cvvaccine.nmhealth.org/

Governor Establishes New Mexico Health Care Affordability Fund, Eliminates Copays For Behavioral Health Services

SANTA FE — Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham Thursday signed into law Senate Bill 317, establishing the Health Care Affordability Fund, which is dedicated to reducing the cost of health insurance and medical expenses for working families.

Weekend COVID Case Counts Now Released On Mondays

…Saturday and Sunday COVID case counts released each Monday

SANTA FE  – The New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) announced Friday that it will no longer release a daily COVID-19 case count report on Saturdays and Sundays.

Instead, the state will provide a consolidated weekend report each Monday. Day-by-day breakdowns of case counts for Saturday and Sunday will no longer be available.

NMDOH: 1/3 Of New Mexico Adults Now Fully Vaccinated

SANTA FE –  The New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) announced today that one-third of New Mexicans 16 years and older are now fully vaccinated. This follows Thursday’s announcement that more than 50 percent of New Mexicans 16 years and older have received at least a first shot.

“These milestones matter,” NMDOH Secretary Dr. Tracie Collins said. “They show very clearly that our vaccination efforts are working, and that we’re moving faster than any state in the country toward herd immunity.”
