STATE News:

SANTA FE — District Attorney Marco Serna announced Monday afternoon that one of the employees of the First Judicial District Attorney’s Office just tested positive for COVID-19.

As such, DA Serna has immediately closed both the Santa Fe and Rio Arriba offices for 14 days to be thoroughly sanitized, and to permit for contract tracing and quarantining to best protect the residents of Santa Fe, Rio Arriba, northern New Mexico, and the rest of the state.

The New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) has updated its daily Rapid Response COVID-19 Watchlist, which includes New Mexico places of employment that have had two or more rapid responses in the last 14 days.

SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials have announced this afternoon 1,214 additional positive tests for COVID-19.

Los Alamos County reports 3 more cases today bringing the total to 70 people who have tested positive for COVID-19.

Today’s update includes 12 new deaths in New Mexico related to COVID-19.

The New Mexico Department of Health reported today the most recent cases:

  • 464 new cases in Bernalillo County
  • 59 new cases in Chaves County
  • 17 new cases in Cibola County
