The scene Monday of the County’s drive thru, drop off ballot service for absentee ballots cast in the 2020 General Election. Motorists are encouraged to use Iris Street for easy access to turn into the Municipal Building Parking Lot, at 1000 Central Ave., where election poll workers are accepting ballots through vehicle driver-side windows to deposit into a secured ballot box, monitored by Los Alamos County Clerk Naomi Maestas and her staff. NMPED COVID-19 Update: 24 Staff And 18 Students Test Positive In New Mexico Public Schools In Last 96 Hours

SANTA FE — The New Mexico Public Education Department today 42 new positive cases of COVID-19 (24 staff members, 18 students) in the last 96 hours.

Rapid response has been initiated, and all pertinent information has been verified with the schools and school districts.

Aquatic Center Therapy Pool Re-Opens Monday Oct. 19

COUNTY News:

The Aquatic Center has announced that the Therapy Pool will re-open at 7 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19 for warm water exercise lane reservations.

All individual swimmers are welcome, and same household family members may workout together in a lane, however it is limited to three individuals.

To reserve a lane, call 505.662.8170, one day ahead between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., and call the Friday before for Monday reservations.
