SANTA FE – The Public Education Department announced this afternoon six new positive cases of COVID-19 in the last 24-hours.

Rapid response has been initiated, and all pertinent information has been verified with the schools and school districts.

The following new cases have been reported:

STATE News:

SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials have announced this afternoon 239 additional positive tests for COVID-19.

Los Alamos County remains at 32 cases that have tested positive for COVID-19.

Today’s update also announces 2 new deaths reported in New Mexico related to COVID-19.

The New Mexico Department of Health reported today the most recent cases:

  • 58 new cases in Bernalillo County
  • 16 new cases in Chaves County
  • 5 new cases in Cibola County

Effective today, Sept. 23, the state of New Mexico revised restrictions for travelers incoming from out of state. Travelers from 10 low-risk states and the District of Columbia are exempt from the mandatory self quarantine requirement. SANTA FE – The state of New Mexico, pursuant to Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s executive order requiring quarantine for out-of-state visitors arriving from high-risk states, amended today, Wednesday Sept. 23, the list of states from which visitors and arriving residents must quarantine.
