Los Alamos Single Family Home Prices Up 10 Percent

The median price of Single Family Home sales jumped 10 percent when compared to the 2nd Quarter of 2017 or $319,500 to $351,475 in this quarter.
 
Single Family home sales remained level at 58 units sold in both the 2nd Quarter of 2017 and the current quarter. Single Family home sales volumes also rose from $19M in 2017 to $22.4M for the 2nd Quarter of 2018 reflecting the increase in home prices. A spokesman for Yes! Communities, the company that manages the Elk Ridge Mobile Home Park on East Jemez Road apologized Wednesday for the confusing policy and communication recently at the park.

South Central Division Vice President Kim Kurz told the Los Alamos Daily Post that some of the items were not handled with the standard Yes! Approach.

Home Renewal Program Cycle 3 Closes Thursday

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County’s Community Development Department and the Los Alamos Housing Partnership (LAHP) would like to remind residents that Cycle 3 of the Home Renewal Program will close Thursday, May 31.

Twelve applications have already been received. Residents who meet income qualifications and require financial assistance to make repairs or improvements to their homes are encouraged to apply for this subsidized loan program. Homeowners are not required to make payments unless the home is sold or vacated.
