Blue Buses Not In Service Veterans Day Nov. 11

NCRTD News:

The North Central Regional Transit District (NCRTD) has announced that the RTD “Blue Buses” will not be in service Tuesday, Nov. 11, in observance of the Veterans Day holiday. Regularly scheduled bus service throughout north central New Mexico including Los Alamos, Rio Arriba, Santa Fe and Taos Counties will resume Wednesday, Nov. 12.

Eta Zeta Sorority Hosts Waffle Breakfast Nov. 15

ETA ZETA News:

The community is invited to attend a Waffle Breakfast 7:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15 at the Masons Lodge at 15th Street and Canyon Road.

The breakfast benefits Eta Zeta Sorority. All funds raised support the organization’s local service projects such as Adopt A Family, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Sombrillo holiday gifts and more.

Just two Co+op cooking classes remain this year:

  • Tuesday, Nov. 18 – Dehydrator Snacks 1.0 with Lisa Johnson
  • Tuesday, Dec. 9 – Vegetarian North Indian Cuisine with Harshini Mukundan.

The classes take place at 6 p.m. in the Co+op Café and registration is available at the Co+op (95 Entrada Dr.). The Co+op’s Shop with the Chef cooking classes give local chefs the opportunity to share their love of cuisine, starting with shopping for the ingredients and taking participants through the cooking process to enjoying the final product.
