About a 5-inch piece, Daikon Radish
1 carrot
3 cups of water
3 tablespoons of rice vinegar
3 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons salt

Group Gathers For Friday Night Meetup At Blue Window

 Members of the local Meetup group gathered Friday night at the Blue Window Bistro in downtown Los Alamos to have a drink or dinner, visit with their friends and make some new ones. Gilbert Butler Honored At Memorial Service

Family, friends and Rotarians attended a memorial service for Gilbert Butler Saturday in Graves Hall at the United Church on Rose Street. Butler passed away Aug. 9 from cancer. He retired from Los Alamos National Laboratory, was a past president of the Rotary Club of Los Alamos and an active member of the community in many important ways. Change to Atomic City Transit Route 12

Effective Monday, Sept. 22, Atomic City Transit will implement changes to the current Route 12 (Bandelier Shuttle).

This route will no longer travel down Grand Canyon Drive to Rover Boulevard through residential areas and back to the Visitor Center on N.M. 4 in White Rock. The new route will include a stop at N.M. 4 and Sherwood and then turn south at Bonnie View with one stop on this street and turn east on Longview with two stops on Longview and then connect back to Rover and N.M. 4 to end at the White Rock Visitor Center.
