The teachers and talented young pianists of Los Alamos are happy to announce their second Spring Recital of 2022. This exciting event is 2 p.m. Sunday, April 24 at Fuller Lodge. 

The first in-person LAMTA recital (Feb. 27, 2022) since COVID had 19 students sharing their music. This Sunday’s event will feature 23 participants, ages 6 to 16, representing six Los Alamos professional teachers. The lights are shining again on Broadway, where theaters were shuttered during the pandemic. But there’s no need to travel to New York City to hear those favorite show tunes.

The Santa Fe Opera Guilds (SFOG) Program of Maestro Joe Illicks Musical Preview of the Santa Fe Operas 2022 Season has been changed from April 27 to 3 p.m. June 14, on Zoom.

For many years, Illick has entertained SFOG members by playing excerpts from the Santa Fe Opera’s upcoming seasons. His vast experience as a conductor and composer makes him uniquely qualified to provide valuable insight into each of the operas.
