Explores idea that Aliens kidnap people

Los Alamos author T. Jackson King’s newest science fiction novel Escape From Aliens has hit No. 9 on Amazon’s Hot New Releases in Space Opera Bestseller list.

The novel explores the idea that the vanishings of people in remote areas might be due to Aliens abducting people for sale to alien buyers.

King, 67, is a former government archaeologist and an award-winning journalist who lives in Los Alamos.

Los Alamos National Laboratory has awarded its protective force services contract to Centerra Group, LLC.

Centerra won the contract over longtime LANL security contractor SOC LLC, which provided protective force services to Los Alamos for more than a decade as Protection Technology Los Alamos, and during the last five years as SOC Los Alamos.

LAFD/LAPD Host 9/11 Memorial Climb

The Los Alamos Fire and Police Departments held a 9/11 Memorial Climb this morning at the Pajarito Ski Hill to honor the fallen in the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on America. They started at the lodge and went to the top via the fire road. Both Fire Chief Troy Hughes and Police Chief Dino Sgambellone participated in the event.
