‘Polluted Parks’ Analysis Finds Southwestern National Parks Among Worst In Air Quality

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A new analysis, released today by National Parks Conservation Association, shows that every one of the 48 national parks with the greatest Clean Air Act protections are plagued by significant air pollution problems and climate change impacts.

DEA Holds 10th National Prescription Drug Take-Back

DEA News:

DEA Acting Administrator Chuck Rosenberg today announced that the 10th National Prescription Drug Take-Back will take place 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sept. 26 local time.

As with the previous nine Take-Back events, sites will be set up throughout communities nationwide so local residents can return their unwanted, unneeded, or expired prescription drugs for safe disposal.

In Los Alamos, a Prescription Drug Take-Back receptacle is available to the public year round in the Los Alamos Police Department lobby at 2500 Trinity Dr.

CHARLESTON, W.V. – Chloe Keilers of Los Alamos High School represented New Mexico receently as a delegate to the 2015 National Youth Science Camp® (NYSC).
