The Department of Energy’s Office of Environmental Management has launched its Environmental Management Los Alamos (EM-LA) Office.

EM’s Associate Deputy Assistant Secretary for Waste Management Christine Gelles has been named acting manager.

MOD Filters Replaced At WIPP

Replacement of the moderate efficiency (MOD) pre-filters that are part of the High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filtration system for the WIPP underground ventilation system was successfully completed Wednesday.
