Emergency Exercise Planned At LANL Thursday
LANL News:
Los Alamos National Laboratory is conducting an emergency preparedness exercise Thursday, Aug. 21.
It is only an exercise. The Lab routinely conducts emergency exercises to test the preparedness of emergency response and other LANL personnel who would respond to an actual emergency.
During the exercise, LANL employees and the public may see emergency response vehicles with their lights running in the area of Technical Area 3. “Exercise in Progress” signs will be placed in affected areas.

- Robots Take Center Stage At Bradbury Science Museum Friday
Employees and the public can see and drive a variety of different robots at “Robotics Night” set for 5 to 8 p.m., this Friday (Aug. 22) at the Bradbury Science Museum.
Robots from Los Alamos National Laboratory’s Hazardous Devices Team, the FIRST Robotics Clubs (high school and middle-school students) UNM-Los Alamos, First LEGO League and other local robotics enthusiasts are scheduled to be at the museum.
