Bill Long, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and a longtime resident of Santa Fe and Los Alamos, passed away at the age of 90 with his family at his side on September 30, 2021.

William (Bill) Donald Long was born on May 21, 1931, to Herbert and Dorothy Long in Jordanville, New York.

Kristin Ellen Kosiewicz, age 46, died unexpectedly Sept. 26, 2021. She was born in Los Alamos, to Claudia and Stan Kosiewicz June 25, 1975.

Kristin attended Los Alamos Public Schools. She spent her Junior year as a Rotary Exchange Student in Australia. Kristin graduated from Los Alamos High School early and took another Foreign Exchange to the French part of Belgium.

JOYCE GILSON KEPHART Sept. 1, 1932 – Sept. 16, 2021

Joyce Kephart, a longtime resident of Los Alamos, passed away peacefully in her home with her family by her side. Her compassion and caring touched many lives and she will be fondly remembered.

Joyce was born in Mhow, India to Captain S.C. Gilson and his wife Elsie. In 1935 the family returned to native England. Joyce grew up and spent the war years in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire while her father served with distinction in North Africa, Sicily, and Italy with the storied Beds and Herts Regiment.

Daniel M. Swart, a long time Los Alamos resident, passed away peacefully at home on September 18, 2021, at the age of 71.

He was born April 8, 1950 to Leslie and Norma Swart in Canon City, Colorado and spent his childhood in Los Alamos. Dan graduated from Mayfield High School in Las Cruces; he was a proud member of the Future Farmers of America and rodeo clubs where he developed a taste for riding bulls and horses.

William E. Putman Jr., age 90, loving husband, father, grandfather and great- grandfather went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, following a five-year battle with cancer, Monday, Sept. 20, 2021.

He was born Aug. 7, 1931, in Albion, Nebraska, the oldest of three children, to William E. Sr. and Marianne Putman.
