Yvonne McCormick died peacefully on the morning of September 10th, two days after her 85th birthday. She was born Ileta Yvonne Gifford, but was always known as Von, Vonnie, Mrs. McCormick, Mom, and Nana.

Yvonne grew up in dusty southeastern Arizona during the Great Depression. She referred to her large family – she was one of nine siblings – as plain hard workers who always managed to make a very little go a long way. Virginia (Ginny) Veronetta Taylor, 79, our beloved Wife and Mother, was called into glory on September 3, 2021.

Helen Quintana, a longtime resident of Los Alamos, died peacefully surrounded by her family Friday, Aug. 27, 2021.

She is proceeded in death by her husband Joe (Paul), son Jerry, parents Miguel and Fermina Salazar to include a number of her siblings.

Ann Foster Partridge, 90, passed away Monday, Aug. 30, following a brief illness with family by her side.

Born in 1931, Ann was the third child of Donald DeLacy and Gerda Arminel Foster. Ann’s childhood was spent largely in New Jersey, where her father worked for Bell Telephone Laboratories, and in New England, with one year in Montreal, as the family moved with her father’s professional positions.

Sue Partridge, 72, passed away August 1, 2021 at her home in Seattle in the presence of those she loved after a long battle with breast cancer. 

Born in Salt Lake City, Utah and raised in New Mexico, Sue and her two brothers were brought up by their parents Ray and Cate Partridge to appreciate nature and the outdoors, spending summers at the family farms in Utah and Idaho.

BRYAN LALLY Aug. 4, 2021

Bryan Lally, 63, passed away on August 4, 2021, after a short illness.

After receiving his PhD from Carnegie Mellon University, Bryan moved to Los Alamos and started his career at LANL in 1992 with the Process Modeling and Control/Process Engineering group.

He had a long career at the lab, spanning several organizations and touching on several important LANL efforts. Bryan was a founding member of CCS-7, which was created to take on the challenge of preparing for the high performance computing platforms used today.

Kenneth Lee Walker beloved son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather passed away at his home in Sulphur Springs, Texas on Tuesday August 31, 2021 at age 51. 

While he had been living with a variety of complications from diabetes, his death came unexpectedly.

Harold Rogers and Margaret Anne Rogers moved on to the next life together Sunday, Aug. 15, 2021.

Harold and Margaret Anne will be interred together Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021 at Guaje Pines Cemetery at 2 p.m. with a reception to follow at Fuller Lodge in Los Alamos from 3-6 p.m.

The family extends a warm invitation to all who knew and loved The Rogers’ and their children, Christie and Roger (“Rog”).
