Marilyn Minshall passed away on May 18, 2025, at the age of 92. She was born in September of 1932 in Klamath Falls, OR, to John Sidney Johnson and Agnes Bateman Johnson. Together with her siblings, Ardis and Earl, the family moved to Fortuna, California and again to Santa Rosa, CA.

Following graduation from high school, she attended Santa Rosa Junior College, and the University of Wisconsin, Madison where she earned a degree in Occupational Therapy. She was active in the Hoofer Club where she met Walter Verney “Wally” Green.

Jean Lorraine Merson sadly left us Dec. 10, 2024, following a stroke she had while living in Albuquerque NM. Jean was born in Oakland, CA on Sept. 26, 1938, as the only child of Alfred and Rita Jungblom. Dr. Robert A. Guyer, theoretical physicist and professor, age 88, died May 3, 2025, in Reno, Nevada, due to leukemia. A dedicated researcher and educator until the end, he published two scientific papers during his final year of life. Even in hospice care, he kept a small black notebook beside his bed to jot down equations and his last telephone conversation included a discussion with a young physicist about their ongoing collaborative work.

Colleen Elizabeth Olinger, age 84, passed away on April 25, 2025. She was born in Pioche, Nevada, to Allie and Jim Cox and grew up in Hamilton Fort, Utah. Colleen received her B.A. at the University of Utah and later earned her M.A. degree in geography at the University of Chicago. It is there she met her husband of 56 years, Bart Olinger.

Richard A. Weber, 60, son of Thomas and Charmaine Weber, passed away suddenly, unexpectedly, and peacefully while visiting his parents’ home in Los Alamos.

He was born in Tucson, Arizona and came with his parents to Los Alamos when he was six months old. Most of his life was spent in Las Cruces, NM where he lived.
