Betty Lou Myers passed away peacefully on March 29, 2025. She was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Upon graduation from high school, she enrolled in Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education.

In 1950, she married her college sweetheart, Bill Myers. In 1963, Bill accepted a position at the Los Alamos National Laboratory and they moved across the country to Los Alamos, New Mexico.
