Dona Crump, 60, of Knoxville died Friday May 10, 2013 at her home. Cause of death was cancer. She was born December 4, 1952 in Columbus, Ind.

Crump graduated from Los Alamos High School and received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Tennessee Tech. She was preceded in death by her Mother Betty Miller McClanahan. Dona is survived by her father Sam McClanahan, son Aaron Crump, brother Darrell McClanahan all of Knoxville and sister Robyn Comer of Columbia, Mo. She was also beloved by numerous other aunts, uncles, and other family.

Moses Attrep, Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, and scientist died in Los Alamos, NM on May 8, 2013.

Born the youngest of seven children on January 2, 1939, in Alexandra, La., Moses grew up in Alexandria and went on to attend Louisiana College in Pineville, La. He continued on to graduate school in Arkansas, obtaining a Ph.D. in radiochemistry from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

GASKILL MEMORIAL

Los Alamos resident Bill Gaskill died Jan. 22, 2013 and a memorial to celebrate his life with family and friends is set for Saturday, May 18.

The memorial will be 12:30 p.m. at the Pajarito Ski Lodge. The Los Alamos National Laboratory, Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Rotary Club and Pajarito Mountain were the places he enjoyed the most.

Billie Crabb passed away peacefully in her sleep Friday, May 3, 2013.

Billie had been a resident of Los Alamos for 66 years. She moved from Mineral Wells, Texas to Los Alamos to be with her father who at the time was working building the city.

She met her husband Billy Crabb and they were married in June of 1951. They were very active in church activities and were founding members of the White Rock Baptist Church. She taught Sunday school until her illness made that difficult.

There will be a public memorial and celebration of the life and times of Martin L. Gursky at 3 p.m.,  May 26 at the Unitarian Church of Los Alamos, 1738 North Sage St.

Donald Dunning passed away Sunday April 28, 2013 at the age of 87.

Don was born in Brookfield, Illinois on April 3, 1926. He grew up in Brookfield during the Depression with his mother and brother Richard. Even though they had no money, he had nothing but fond memories of that time.
