Los Alamos GOP Leaders Resign

By CAROL A. CLARK
Los Alamos Daily Post

Top officials in the Republican Party of Los Alamos have resigned amidst a firestorm of insults hurled across Facebook over the past several weeks.

“I believe there is too much hatred and vitriol in politics today from both Parties,” GOP Vice Chair James Chrobocinski said. “Unfortunately, during this rec bond election, I experienced attacks against me personally as well as against my family. I wholeheartedly agree with debating issues on the issues but believe it’s important to disagree without being disagreeable.”

After a contentious campaign, our citizens voted to keep an elected Sheriff.

It’s time to settle this debate. I will present at the June 6 Council Read More

By LAUREN GRIFFITH
Los Alamos

Following the recent recreation bond election outcome, I wondered if there is a possible compromise that we could look at.

From discussions with and reading opinions by ‘no’ voters, it sounds like there were two main issues with the bond (I realize there were others, but these seemed to be the biggest):
