2017 LAPS And UNM-LA Board Election Is Tuesday

Tuesday is election day for seats on the Los Alamos Board of Education and UNM-LA Advisory Board. The polls will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for registered voters to cast their ballots.

Election Day Polling Places:

  • White Rock Library / Multi-Purpose Room at 10 Sherwood Blvd.; and
  • County Municipal Building / B & C Room at 1000 Central Ave.

ALBUQUERQUE  Attorney General Hector Balderas has issued a scam alert concerning a dangerous phishing scam targeting schools and employers in New Mexico in an attempt to illegally obtain W2s.
 
The scammers email from addresses that end in “.ru” but show up as the name of someone working in the school district or business in an attempt to trick staff into sending confidential tax information belonging to employees. This scam has already hit four different school districts in New Mexico today.
