Naomi Maestas Files For Los Alamos County Clerk

Los Alamos County Senior Deputy Clerk Naomi Maestas, a Republican, just filed for the office of  County Clerk. ‘I feel that it is very important to continue the progress we have made in the County Clerk’s Office,’ said Maestas, who has worked in the Clerk’s Office for nearly 10 years. If elected, she will resign from her current position. County Clerk’s Office Waits For More Candidates

After a busy morning assisting candidates, from left, Elections Manager Gloria Maestas, Chief Deputy Clerk Adrianna Ortiz, Clerk Sharon Stover and Senior Deputy Clerk Naomi Maestas have not seen a single candidate file since just before lunchtime. So far, one Democrat and one Republican have filed for county clerk and three Democrats and three Republicans have filed for county council but no one has filed for probate judge.
