LWV News:
The League of Women Voters’ Los Alamos Education Study Committee has been researching the issue of communication between the Los Alamos School Board and citizens.
The focus is on high district-wide concerns such as the budget and the strategic plan as well as the distribution of information.
The public is invited to an open meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22 at UNM/LA, Building 2, Room 230 to learn how the study is progressing.

In its continued efforts to make it easy for citizens to find and review public notices, Los Alamos County has launched a new section on the Clerk’s webpage for published ordinances and resolutions.
When the Clerk’s Office submits the ordinance or resolution for publication to the local newspaper of record in order to meet legal posting requirements, they also will post the title and a PDF file of the ordinance or resolution being proposed for the public to download from this new webpage.
