Local shed hunters Shawn Amburgey and Cory Miller held a fundraiser Saturday to raise funds for needy families in the community.

Amburgey, lead pastor at New Beginnings and also an antler buyer, paid cash for deer and elk antlers donated by fellow shed hunters. The proceeds were then given to the church to help families with utility payments, food and gifts for Christmas.
