Bandelier Offers Reward for Information on Elk Poaching

BANDELIER News:

Between 6:15 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25, an elk was poached within Bandelier National Monument. The incident occurred along N.M. 4, west of the Sandoval and Los Alamos County Line, between mile markers 45 and 46. To someone driving past the suspect vehicle, it may have appeared to be stuck in the snow on the shoulder/ditch on the north side of the road.
