NCRTD ‘Blue Buses’ Not in Service Nov. 28-29

The North Central Regional Transit District (NCRTD) has announced that the RTD “Blue Buses” will not be in service Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.  Regularly scheduled bus service throughout north central New Mexico including Los Alamos, Rio Arriba, Santa Fe and Taos Counties will resume Monday, Dec. 2.

Governor Appoints Los Alamos Housing Manager Paul Andrus to Regional Board

Gov. Susana Martinez has appointed Paul Andrus of Los Alamos to the Northern Regional Housing Authority Board of Commissioners.

Andrus has more than 20 years of experience in community development and affordable housing. He serves as Los Alamos County’s manager of Housing and Special Projects in the Community and Economic Development Department.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Wednesday, during a Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources hearing, U.S. Senators Tom Udall, D-N.M., and Martin Heinrich, D-N.M., who serves on the committee, continued their effort to designate the 45,000-acre Columbine-Hondo area in Taos County as wilderness.
