The San Ildefonso Pueblo is erecting and will operate this new cell tower that has appeared recently in Totavi. This is part of Los Alamos County’s major Community Broadband Network (CBN) project. Construction on the County-owned, open-access fiber system is planned to start this summer. Key to this project is an 11-mile ‘middle mile’ fiber link with San Ildefonso Pueblo, providing critical redundancy off the hill. This project aims to improve speed, reliability, and competition for homes and businesses, replacing the single existing line. Courtesy photo
