Atomic City Transit regular scheduled bus service will not operate on Monday, July 4, 2022, in observance of the holiday.

Atomic City Transit will be providing free shuttle service for the Los Alamos Fourth of July concert at Overlook Park in White Rock. 

Shuttle service will begin at 3 p.m. from Sullivan Field in Los Alamos, White Rock Visitor Center, and Piñon Elementary in White Rock. A continuous shuttle service will be provided throughout the event with the last bus at 9:30 p.m. leaving Overlook Park.

State Police To Conduct Checkpoints & Saturation Patrols In Counties Across New Mexico In July

NMSP News:

New Mexico State Police (NMSP) will be conducting sobriety checkpoints, saturation patrols; and registration, insurance, and driver’s license checkpoints in all New Mexico counties during July 2022.

They are bringing awareness to these events to reduce impaired driving-related fatalities through continued media attention and intensive advertising.

ACT Announces Detour, Bus Stop Closure Route 6 Villa Lp

COUNTY News:

Atomic City Transit has been notified that a portion of Villa and 33rd Street and 34th Street near Aspen Elementary School will not be serviced.

Bus stops #547 and #545, as well as #546 will not be serviced due to emergency water repairs.    

Delays are expected due to traffic congestion.

Emergency Road Closure: 33rd/34th Streets For Repairs

COUNTY News:

A stretch of 33rd and 34th streets will be closed to through traffic 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and Wednesday for emergency water repairs.

The affected portion of the streets is 34th and Villa to 33rd and Walnut Street.

Department of Public Utilities water crews will be repairing a leak and restricting traffic in the neighborhood to only those residents who live on that stretch of road. Read More

I-25 And Canyon Ranch Road Bridge Rehabilitation Project

SANTA FE — The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) would like to alert the travelling public to a bridge rehabilitation project set to begin Monday June 27 on I-25.

Kimo Constructors Inc, in conjunction with the NMDOT is set to begin a bridge rehabilitation project on Canyon Ridge Road that spans I-25. The existing bridge superstructure will be raised and rehabilitated.

NCRTD Announces 4th Of July Holiday Closure

The North Central Regional Transit District’s RTD Blue Buses will not be in service Monday, July 4 in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
