Central Closed From Roundabout To Oppenheimer For WinterFest Holiday Lights Parade Beginning 4 PM Saturday

Los Alamos Creative District News:

Los Alamos MainStreet and the Creative District are hosting the Holiday Lights Parade 6-7:30 p.m. Saturday along Central Avenue, from the roundabout to Oppenheimer Drive.

The Los Alamos County Traffic & Streets Division will close this section of the road to all vehicles beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday.

Parade organizers ask the public to avoid parking along Central Avenue during this time.

NNSA Representative To Provide Update On NM4/Jemez Road Intersection Project Thursday Dec. 2

COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos County Transportation Board invites the public to attend its next board meeting, scheduled at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2.

Carol Brown of NNSA’s Los Alamos Field Office will provide an update to the community on the status of the project to re-design and re-construct the intersection of N.M. 4 and Jemez Road.

Due to COVID-19 concerns, the meeting will be conducted remotely.
