WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Rep. Melanie Stansbury (N.M.-01) has announced her winner for the 2023 Congressional Art Competition. Rep. Stansbury’s theme this year was “Con Cariño, from NM”.

The final Hawk Hangout of the school year was held May 18. This event was in collaboration with Los Alamos County Recreation, Teen Court, Library, Police and Social Service departments, while partnering with Los Alamos Middle School, YMCA, JJAB, Youth Activity Center, LANL Foundation and Los Alamos Arts Council. 

This collaboration is an effort to provide a safe space for socialization for the middle school youth in the community and is free to students.
