The Veterans of Foreign Wars will be showing the much-anticipated boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor starting at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26 with under-card matches.
What makes this fight interesting is that McGregor, a mixed martial arts champion is making the move from the Octagon to the ring to compete in a 12-round boxing match against Mayweather, one of the greatest boxers of this era.

Back for its sixth year, the highly anticipated Opera on the Rocks at Bandelier National Monument will take the audience on an extraordinary galactic trip this year, with the presentation of scenes from Mozart’s comic opera, The Abduction from the Seraglio, adapted to fit into a futuristic universe similar to that of Star Trek. PEEC: Los Alamos Children’s Dentistry Adopts Nature Center Gardens

Los Alamos Children’s Dentistry has adopted the three mesa gardens at the Los Alamos Nature Center.
This generous gift will help the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) maintain the gardens for a full year. The three mesa gardens include a pollinator garden, a native plant garden, and a water-wise garden. The gardens are in full bloom right now, making it a perfect time to visit the nature center and take in the flowers.
