The National Weather Service reports a daytime high of 35 with this morning’s snow likely turning to rain this afternoon. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches is possible. Los Alamos Big Band Christmas Dance Dec. 28
Mark your calendars! The annual Christmas Dance featuring the Los Alamos Big Band is 7:30-10:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 28 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Hall. Come and dance the night away, or if dancing isn’t your thing, just sit and enjoy listening to the live sounds of the 40’s and 50’s with some Christmas tunes mixed in of course. All of the proceeds will benefit the IHM Youth Group who will be hosting the event with festive decorations and refreshments. The Los Alamos County Traffic & Streets Division will be turning off the power to various streetlights to enhance the viewing of holiday farolitos.
The streetlights will be turned off Friday, Dec. 23 and be restored Tuesday, Dec. 27.
