Local DECA Program Hosts Art Gallery Friday

DECA News:
 
The Los Alamos High School DECA organization is launching an art gallery fundraiser 6-8 p.m., Friday at Longview Self Storage, 105 Longview Dr. in White Rock.
 
The event includes holiday themed food and drink sales and a $50 gift basket giveaway.
 
All proceeds from art sold will go directly to the LAHS Art Department and the money from ticket sales will go to DECA state and national conference funds.
 
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under.
 
The community is encouraged to stop by and support the LAHS art and business programs.

Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden announced today the annual selection of 25 motion pictures, including “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea”, that have been inducted into the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress because of their cultural, historic or aesthetic importance.
