Los Alamos Daily Post Candidate Facebook Poll Results Are In

ELECTION News:

During the last week, the Los Alamos Daily Post conducted a non-scientific poll on Facebook. 

Readers were asked to cast their vote for one State Representative candidate for House District 43 and – because three seats are available – to vote their first, second and third choices for Los Alamos County Council.

The poll was open Oct. 16 through Oct. 23 and readers were informed that their name would appear on Facebook when they cast their vote. 

Readers who visited the poll totaled 597.

Art Show Opening at Los Alamos Co-op Market

CO-OP News:

The Los Alamos Cooperative Market will host the opening of a photography exhibition from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17.

The show, dubbed “Camino de Paz y Cooperación,” is a collaborative effort between the Co-op and local photographer Minesh Bacrania and depicts the close connection between Camino de Paz, the Montessori-based school and farm located in Santa Cruz, N.M. and the Los Alamos Co-op.
