Concordia Santa Fe’s Wind Orchestra To Present Concert At St. Francis Auditorium June 14

CONCERT News:

Concordia Santa Fe’s Wind Orchestra will present its second concert of 2026 at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 14, at the New Mexico Museum of Art in the St. Francis Auditorium.

Under the direction of guest conductor Professor David Bertman, Director of Bands at the University of Houston, the 40-member ensemble will perform works by Samuel Barber, Aaron Copland, Michael Markowski, Gian Carlo Menotti, Vincent Persichetti, and David White.

LAYSL To Hold Competitive Team Tryouts For 2026-2027

LAYSL News:

Los Alamos Youth Soccer League (LAYSL) has announced competitive team tryouts for the 2026-2027 soccer season for boys and girls ages U9–U14.

Girls tryouts will take place 5-6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, at the North Mesa soccer fields. Tryouts are open to all girls age groups U9 through U14 and will cover both the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 seasons. Questions regarding girls tryouts may be directed to matt.hemphill@gmail.com.
