FBI: Mescalero Woman Gets 41 Months For 2×4 Assault

ALBUQUERQUE — Alexander M.M. Uballez, United States Attorney for the District of New Mexico, and Raul Bujanda, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Albuquerque Field Office, announced that Lucinda Ann Yuzos was sentenced to 41 months in prison.

Yuzos, 49, of Mescalero, and an enrolled member of the Mescalero Apache Tribe, pled guilty in federal court April 25, 2023, to assault of an intimate partner resulting is substantial bodily injury.

ALBUQUERQUE — Alexander M.M. Uballez, United States Attorney for the District of New Mexico, and Raul Bujanda, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Albuquerque Field Office, announced Jan. 3 that Santiago Quintana was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Quintana, 70, of Santo Domingo, and a member of the Santo Domingo Pueblo, pleaded guilty to abusive sexual contact Sep. 21, 2023.

Shirleene Ann Westerhold, age 88, of Rio Rancho, passed away peacefully at her home Sunday, Oct. 22, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Charles Eugene “Gene” Westerhold, parents James and Ella Scullawl, in-laws Charley and Bertha Westerhold, granddaughter Wenona Westerhold, and son-in-law Bill Cushing.
